Blalock’s Mexico colony has been a matter of active interest in and around Mangum for some months.  Silently, but surely, the leaven of interest has been steadily working since planted by the glowing reports of Henry Ricks and G. E. Blalock last spring, until now a live, wide-a-wake, energetic and business like colony of several hundred souls is make the climax.

One hundred and sixty seven thousand acres of Mexico land has been bought upon which these people will cast their fortune for weal or for woe.  The present climate, the glowing sun, the gentle rains and the tropical zephyrs are all combined to make a seeming paradise in that land.

These people are all determined, business men and we predict that their efforts will be crowed (sic) with success.  The shares are make $50 each.
