Attendees are invited to bring a favorite dessert and recipe to share.

The Blalock Mexico Colony Reunion 2010 will be held in a handicapped accessible indoor facility which has an excellent outdoor playground with a basketball court (bring your own ball if you are interested).
A Bar-B-Q Lunch will be served from 12:00 noon until 1:30 PM.
A presentation on the Blalock Mexico Colony Project will begin at 2:00 PM. There will be a microphone available for stories and recollections. If you play an instrument and want to entertain the group, please bring it with you.
There will be an auction to raise money for the Blalock Mexico Colony Reunion Fund. If you would like to donate an item for the auction please notify Rick Newcomb.
A tamale dinner will be served at 5:30 PM.

The Blalock Mexico Colony Project was begun with the purpose of collecting, preserving, and sharing documents, newspaper articles, stories, and images of the Blalock Mexico Colony. To learn more go to www.blalockmexicocolony.org.

We invite you to join us in this exciting venture to chronicle our families’ narratives, thereby helping to complete the story and preserve this history for future generations. Help us identify unknown people in some of the photographs before that information is lost forever. Look through your family memorabilia to see what you have that contributes to the story: original documents, photographs, maps, letters, newspaper articles, etc. Bring them with you, and we will help you copy and preserve them. Scanning and copying will be done on site by the BMC committee. Additionally, we are interested in documenting stories passed down through your family.
